The session started slow due to most of the carp predominantlyfeed at night, then about 9pm i had a run and landed a 4lb bream, and then caught another one soon after. After putting my rods back out, and a few bait changes at 11pm i had a run, and land a 16lb mirror carp. I caught it on mainline cell 15mm boilies, just in the margins. After that i had one more run about 4am, which unfortunately came off. over all a good session :)

i sacked the carp up over night and got some better pictures in the morning.

I turned up at Napton to find the whole lake frozen over, i thought i could brake it but it was 3 inches thick, the big lake was amazing to see frozen over. The thing that made me smile was watching the ducks and swans trying to walk on the ice.

I spent 24hours at a mineral lake in Bedworth, after setting up i had my first fish at half past five, after already loosing two, my first fish was a 12lb sturgeon, two hours later my reel was screaming and i landed a 12lb carp. then after a few hours of sleep, i caught a 21lb sturgeon which put up an amazing fight. Soon after i caught a 8lb common carp, then when morning came around i started to pack up and before taking my rods out i caught an 11lb carp. It was a very good short session, specially for winter, i caught them on a fluorocarbon leader, set up on a clip rig system to fluorocarbon hair rig. The bait i caught them all on is peperami, in addition i used a small bag of halibut pellets.
